Developer Documentation

A PluginX extension app is a lightweight application that runs inside third-party webpages: an entry script with a metadata header, optionally backed by a multi-file source project, injected into matching pages by the PluginX toolbox extension through chrome.userScripts. Use it to add batch operations, data panels, or AI features to platforms like Commerce and 1688.

The developer experience is close to Tampermonkey userscripts, but with more power:

  • Vue 3 / TypeScript source projects, compiled directly in the browser — no local toolchain
  • Eight built-in runtime libraries: DOM, storage, HTTP, AI models, user info, network inspection, agent orchestration, and runtime context
  • A built-in IDE with an AI coding assistant — describe what you want and iterate conversationally
  • One-click review submission and marketplace publishing with pricing and trial plans
